Based on the combined yearly percentage growth in both home sales and prices expected in 2022, Realtor.com has named Salt Lake City the #1 housing market in the country, followed by Boise, ID at #2 and Spokane, WA at #3. The pandemic and remote work has sent people flocking from larger cities, in search of affordable housing, ease of living, and good schools. Salt Lake City is the perfect place to live for outdoor activities. It has some of the best skiing, fishing, mountain biking, and hiking in the country. The tech boom in Lehi, UT has also contributed to Utah's growing economy. With Lehi being only 25 minutes from Salt Lake City, it's easy to see why it's the ideal location for many.
